What’s the difference?

The Mayflash F101 doesn’t really get talked about that much in the realm of arcade sticks. This is because the F300 is seen as the more popular choice. On paper, they seem pretty similar, but what actually is the difference?

Both fightsticks are virtually identical. The buttons and joystick feel quite similar to the F300.

One difference is that the F101 pretty much works straight out of the box with Nintendo Switch. Whilst technically you can make the F300 work with the Switch as well, it involves downloading an update.

The F101 also doesn’t work on the PS4, unless you get a converter, which might be a dealbreaker for some. It does work on PC, however.

Like the F300, the F101 is pretty easy to mod and the standard buttons can be swapped out for better Sanwa parts.

It’s clear that Mayflash targeted this stick towards the Nintendo Switch, hence why it’s a little bit cheaper than the F300.

Overall, it’s the F300 but cheaper. So if you have the right platform to play this stick on then going for the F101 isn’t a bad deal.
